Nairobi Stima takes on NLS leaders Ushuru in the battle for top spot

Nairobi Stima will be seeking to go joint top with National Super League leaders, Ushuru when the two sides clash on Saturday.

The tax collectors are at the summit with 45 points, three above Stima who will be all out to put to a halt on Ushuru’s surge.

The tie is among the nine matches lined-up as the second tier league resumes on Friday following a one week break.

Ushuru will miss the services of Evans Maliachi, who is suspended after he was sent off in his side’s 3-0 win over Kenya Police.

Maliachi is among the four players who will miss a piece of the action for their respective sides through suspension.

FC Talanta will miss two players Eric Lusala and Emmanuel Mogaka when they take on Nairobi Stima same as Administration Police, who will have to do without Bradley Makokha.

Second-placed Western Stima will have a chance to move top should they pick maximum points against Kibera Black Stars and hope that Ushuru tumbles against fellow power-men.
