Mxolisi Macuphu joins Thabo Rakhale at Chippa United

The Chilli Boys are believed to have made their second mid-season signing

Chippa United have signed Jomo Cosmos' Mxolisi Macuphu, with the details of the deal at this stage is still unclear.

Macuphu joins Orlando Pirates loanee Thabo Rakhale as the club's second arrival for the second half of the season.

Ezenkosi, who are plying their trade in the National First Division (NFD), revealed that the midfielder will head to Port Elizabeth on their official Twitter page on Thursday morning.

The Chilli Boys have made great strides under Teboho Moloi despite losing their final two games prior to the mid-season recess.

Macuphu comes with plenty of PSL experience having featured for Golden Arrows in the elite league during the 2010/11 season.

The 28-year-old is fondly remembered for his cracking strike against Kaizer Chiefs in the 2015/16 season that earned Ezenkosi a 1-0 win at the FNB Stadium.
