Two undefeated teams face off at the Estadio BBVA Bancomer in the third week of the Liga MX Clausura

Club Tijuana has made a solid start to the Liga MX Clausura, but Diego Cocca's men will face easily their biggest test on Saturday.

Cocca's side travels to the Estadio BBVA Bancomer to face Apertura regular season champion Monterrey, which looks like it again is a leading contender in the Clausura.

Xolos are the only side to begin the Clausura with two straight clean sheets, and a third against high-flying Rayados would cement them as a defensive force.

Club Tijuana looks like an improved side after a disappointing 11th-place finish in the Apertura, and Saturday should give Xolos a chance to see just how much better they really are.

Monterrey dominated Liga MX in the Apertura, ultimately falling to crosstown rivals Tigres in a heartbreaking final defeat.

Antonio Mohamed's men have begun the Clausura with a return of four points from their first two matches, and they should take their game to another level with the introduction of two players who missed the first two games with injury.

Last season's Liga MX top scorer Aviles Hurtado is set to make his Clausura debut on Saturday, while new signing Jonathan Urretaviscaya also is available for the first time this season.

That duo should test a Xolos defense that has been solid to start the season, posting two consecutive clean sheets.

Monterrey will still be heavily favored to get three points, as Rayados have won 10 of their last 13 home games in the league.
