The Olukoya Boys players have been seen at the People’s Elephant’s practice sessions with a view to joining the former NPFL champions
MFM duo of Stanley Okorom and Chukwuka Onuwa have been spotted training with Enyimba in Aba.
Both players have been linked with the People's Elephant since the start of the 2018-19 pre-season.
Okorom is an energetic right back while Onuwa is one of the best attacking midfielders in the Nigerian top-flight and both players who have spent over three seasons each with the Olukoya Boys are training with the People’s Elephant with a view to signing them for the coming season.
Both players helped MFM to qualify for the Caf Champions League two seasons ago after they placed second in the league despite joining the top-flight a season earlier and they also ensured that the Lagos based club still remains in the Nigeria Professional Football League beyond last season.
A source in the camp of the 2018 Caf Confederation Cup semi-finalists said that the two players have distinguished themselves in the training and test games that have been played thus far and that it is just a matter of time when issues relating to their contract talks would be concluded.
Okorom was discovered from the secondary school football competition in Owerri and he has been with the Olukoya Boys right from their stay in the National league while Onuwa was a former player of Heartland of Owerri before moving to MFM.
