Matchday six preview: Kotoko out to overthrow Aduana

Tied on 13 points at the top of the table, the fight between Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars is set for an interesting plot when the Ghana Premier League enters week six on Saturday and Sunday.

Of the two, Aduana play as guests to Inter Allies at the El-Wak Stadium in the only game on Saturday. The latter beat Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 in their last home game.

Kotoko, on the other hand, travel to face newly-promoted Bolga All Stars, who are searching for their second win of the season.

FA Cup holders Bechem United play away to 2014-15 league champions Ashanti Gold at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium. The Miners have a lot of appeasing to do for the home fans, following the 5-1 humiliation at the hands of Berekum Chelsea.

Without a doubt, Medeama’s home game against reigning champions Wa All Stars will be another clash of massive interest. The match will be played at the Tarkwa T&A Park, home of the former, who sit 12th on the log.

New boys Elmina Sharks chase their second win of the season in their welcome of Berekum Chelsea to the Nduom Stadium.

Elsewhere at the Sogakope, Wafa lock horns with Tema Youth at the Red Bull Soccer Arena, while Liberty Professionals host Ebusua Dwarfs.
