Man Utd's 2020-21 home kit

Manchester United revealed their new home kit for 2020-21 on August 4.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made “DNA” a buzzword at Old Trafford and the Red Devils’ latest design from Adidas seeks to buy into that by “using the threads of the club crest itself to produce a subtly patterned base fabric”.

United have produced a “nuanced design through an innovative ‘space dye’ technique that allows separate yarns to be dyed individually, and at different lengths, to give a finish with depth, and with full details only viewable by the wearer”.

The Premier League heavyweights have also produced shirts specifically designed for children as they look to acknowledge and embrace the next generation of a loyal fan base.

Solskjaer's side will wear their new kit for the first time when facing LASK in the second leg of a Europa League last-16 showdown on August 5.

Man Utd's 2020-21 away kit

The Red Devils delivered their away kit for 2020-21 on August 15.

Adidas consider the shirt to be “legend earth green” and to boast “intricately hand-drawn and painted design”.

United say their latest offering is “designed with the club’s famous away supporters in mind”.

Adidas claimed to have “re-drew, hacked and re-imagined combined elements from various jerseys throughout the club’s long history to create a bold new pattern. Utilising United’s iconic club colours of red, white and black the kit is an original story with a modern update.”

United’s kit manufacturer added on their efforts: “The result is surprising, unexpected and demonstrates a continued ambition to push the boundaries of shirt design.”
