Liverpool v Everton: Mane to make it three in a row against Toffees

While Salah has been dominating the headlines this season, Al Hain-Cole thinks one of his fellow Africans could prove the hero in the Merseyside derby

After putting seven past Spartak Moscow to clinch their side's place in the Champions League knockout stages, Liverpool's forward line will be in confident spirits when Everton visit Anfield for Sunday's Merseyside derby.

Having scored the final goal in that game to make it 18 for the season so far, Mohamed Salah is Betfair Sportsbook's 3/1 (4.00) favourite to open the scoring against Everton, and 8/11 (1.73) to strike anytime.

However, while the Egyptian's prolific form has stolen the headlines since his arrival from Roma, he has been helped by an excellent supporting cast of talented attackers.

Also on target against the Russians to take his tally to 12 for the campaign, Roberto Firmino is priced at 10/11 (1.91) to score for the fourth time in three fixtures here.

Sadio Mane hit the net in both encounters with the Toffees last season and looks like the best value at 5/4 (2.25) after scoring four times in his last three starts.

Alternatively, Philippe Coutinho looks like a solid outside bet at 13/10 (2.30) after hitting his first ever hat-trick for Jurgen Klopp's team last time out to improve his record to nine goals this season.

Although not quite as prolific as their neighbours, the Toffees will also fancy their chances of doing some damage at the other end of the pitch after striking four times in the last two league games.

With seven goals to his name against Liverpool for Manchester United, Wayne Rooney is priced at 9/1 (10.00) to score against the old enemy for the first time for his boyhood club, and 11/4 (3.75) to break the deadlock.

Having scored six times despite starting just three matches so far, Oumar Niasse could offer some temptation at generous 3/1 (4.00) anytime odds.

Tasked with leading the line in Sam Allardyce's first game in command, Dominic Calvert-Lewin can be backed at 3/1 (4.00) to reward that faith with a second goal in successive games, while Gylfi Sigurdsson is available at 7/2 (4.50) to hit the net for the third time in four league fixtures.
