The Reds will be looking to move back into second place in the Premier League table, with their in-form attacking unit set to lead the charge

Liverpool will be looking to Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane for inspiration once again in their Premier League meeting with Newcastle.

The Reds have been full of goals in recent weeks, with the target found 16 times amid a five-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have also passed the 100-goal mark for the season, with fearsome attacking trio Salah, Firmino and Mane having contributed 66 efforts to that total.

Trying to keep them quiet is the challenge facing Newcastle and former Reds boss Rafa Benitez at Anfield on Saturday.

Liverpool team: Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Can, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Mane, Firmino. Subs: Mignolet, Milner, Gomez, Moreno, Lallana, Solanke, Matip.

Newcastle team: Dubravka, Dummett, Lascelles, Lejeune, Yedlin, Merino, Atsu, Diame, Kenedy, Murphy, Gayle. Subs: Darlow, Manquillo, Clark, Hayden, Ritchie, Perez, Joselu.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw at St James’ Park back in October, with Joselu cancelling out an opener from Philippe Coutinho.

Liverpool will be hoping to take all three points in their latest meeting with the Magpies, as victory will lift them back above arch-rivals Manchester United and into second spot in the Premier League table.

Newcastle, meanwhile, will be looking to edge away from relegation danger, with just two points separating them from the drop zone.
