Liverpool are looking to stretch an eight-game unbeaten run in the Premier League with victory at Bournemouth on Sunday having surrendered four points to Everton and West Bromwich Albion this week.
The Reds are on their longest spell without defeat in the competition since November 2016 (11 matches), but the shine has been taken off their sequence with the back-to-back draws.
Jurgen Klopp will want to strike back following the double setback, with last season's fixture at the Vitality Stadium also fresh in mind.
His men surrendered a two-goal lead to lose 4-3 then, with Eddie Howe saying: "We have good memories of both Liverpool games last year. The one here will live long in the memory, with how we came back."
The Merseysiders have only been beaten in one of their last 22 league matches against teams outside the 'big six'.
LIVERPOOL INJURIES
Joel Matip [adductor], Alberto Moreno [ankle] and Nathaniel Clyne [back] remain unavailable for selection.
Daniel Sturridge has been nursing a tight hamstring and is a doubt, while Adam Lallana should be in the matchday squad.

Simon Mignolet has shaken off a knock, but there are few minor concerns ahead of the weekend.
“Joel is on a good way, running outside. [He is] not available for the weekend, of course. The same for Clyney,” Klopp revealed at Melwood.
“Daniel, we have to wait [to see] how he improved since yesterday. [We have] a few little things, with Joe [Gomez], knocks from the game. Joe had a little bit before, that’s why we left him out. But he should be OK.
“Millie [James Milner] and Robbo [Andy Robertson], a few knocks from the game, should be OK. Adam is back in full and normal training; if nothing changed since yesterday then he will be ready for the squad at least.
“[Moreno] has no chance for Sunday. I saw him yesterday on the bike – good but not good enough. And Simon [Mignolet] is OK again.”
LIVERPOOL SUSPENSIONS
Emre Can serves a one-ban match for the totting up of yellow cards, while Dejan Lovren is a booking away from the same fate.
Harry Arter and Steve Cook are on four cautions for the hosts.
LIVERPOOL POTENTIAL STARTING LINE-UP
Klopp has made 65 changes to his starting XI so far this season in the league; 23 more than any other team in the competition.
It is also 11 more than he oversaw in the entirety of 2016-17 and the rotation will continue.
With Can suspended, Jordan Henderson should return to the base of midfield, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could refresh the centre of the pitch or one of the forward positions.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have started two in a row, and one or both may be in line for a rest on Sunday.
Mignolet will return in goal, while Joe Gomez could swap in for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Milner is an option on the opposite flank if Robertson needs to be kept fresh.
BOURNEMOUTH TEAM NEWS
Bournemouth were unlucky to have been defeated 1-0 by Manchester United in their last outing, having registered five more shots on target at Old Trafford than the hosts.
David de Gea turned in another stellar display, with Howe pleased with how his charges executed the gameplan. "We had two distinct ways we wanted to play," he explained. "One was to be compact and disciplined without the ball.
"If you’re too loose against the top teams, they hurt you so I thought we were good in that area. I was pleased with the out lines and our strikers helping out the other units of the team. With the ball, we wanted to be as brave as we could and try to dominate possession."

Bournemouth will attempt to strike the same balance against Liverpool, but with a better result. Howe has pointed out that while Klopp's starting XI will be unpredictable, it will still be packed with quality.
"The personnel may be different, but the quality doesn't change much, they have quality to come in in every position. We know what sort of team we're up against and the challenge is to stop them," he said.
"Salah has been excellent this season, but it's not just him, that's the problem when you play these teams. We need to make sure our structure is good, our plan is good and also look at how we can take them on and focus on our strengths."
Tyrone Mings has seen a specialist following a setback in his recovery from a back injury and Howe will consider rotation on Sunday.
"We have a tough run of fixtures and we're still in the Carabao Cup, so the key is we have to make sure everyone can play at their best levels," the Cherries boss said.
"I want the players to be fresh enough to perform, I will speak to the players concerned and see how they feel."
