Arnaiz leaves Barca for Leganes


Barcelona winger Jose Arnaiz has joined Leganes in a €5 million deal.

The 23-year-old impressed in the Copa del Rey last season, but was unable to force himself into Ernesto Valverde's first-team plans. 

Barca do retain a buy-back option for Arnaiz.

Hannover's Maina impresses in pre-season

Manchester United have been watching Hannover midfielder Linton Maina, with the hope he can make an impact similar to Leroy Sane in the Premier League.

The 19 year old has done well for H96 coach Andre Breitenreiter in the warm-up friendlies ahead of the new Bundesliga season, with Sportbuzzer reporting that he has also caught the attention of the Red Devils.

Breitenreiter believes that the club do not need to sign a new winger this summer as the Germany Under-19 international has played his way into his first team plans.

Kimpembe extends PSG contract to 2023


World Cup winner Presnel Kimpembe has signed a new five-year contract with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Academy product Kimpembe has become an increasingly important player for PSG, starting 27 Ligue 1 games last season as Unai Emery's side completed a domestic clean sweep.

Myziane Maolida leaves Lyon for Nice

Rafinha set to stay at Barcelona despite Inter interest


Barcelona midfielder Rafinha will be staying put at Camp Nou for the 2018-19 season, according to club international transfer director Ariedo Braida. 

Inter were unable to sign the Brazilian last season due to FFP, but were expected to make a renewed bid for the player who spent 2017-18 on loan in Serie A.

Inter sign Keita on loan from Monaco


Inter have completed the signing of Keita Balde on loan from Monaco, with an option to make the deal permanent.

The Senegal international returns to Serie A after a single season with Monaco, who signed the versatile attacker from Lazio.

Luka Modric has been included in Real Madrid's squad for their UEFA Super Cup clash against city rivals Atletico amid rumours linking him to Inter.

The Serie A giants have been strongly touted as a possible destination for the Croatia international, but it appears he is still part of Los Blancos' plans ahead of the season kick-off.

Nice have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated Lyon youngster Myziane Maolida.

L'Equipe reports that they will pay €10 million for the striker, with Lyon also receiving 30% of any future sale.

Rudy to fill the Keita void at RB Leipzig

Odegaard lined up Championship sides

Championship sides Middlebrough, Derby and Aston Villa have been offered Real Madrid forward Martin Odegaard on loan, according to TEAMtalk.

The 19-year-old has offers from several different countries but his preference is to move to England.

A switch to the Premier League is, however, impossible with the transfer deadline having passed. A switch to the second tier on loan, however, is not out of the question.

Rabiot faces PSG deal dilemma


Adrien Rabiot is mulling over his future with PSG, according to RMC.

The midfielder had been ready to leave in the summer, with Barcelona interested, but with less than 12 months left on his deal, he could renew his contract.

New coach Thomas Tuchel has played a big role in the France international taking time to ponder his future. 

Lyon aim to complete Ruben Dias move


Lyon should complete the signing of Benfica defender Ruben Dias by the end of the week, France Football reports.

The centre-back is expected to move to OL for around €30 million (£26m/$34m).

Inter set to complete Keita Balde loan


Monaco attacker Keita Balde is set to spend the season on loan with Inter, who will pay €6 million (£5.4m/$6.8m) to take him for the year.

The Serie A side have a purchase clause in his contract worth €42m plus a percentage of any future deal.

Athletic ready to spend €60m on Oyarzabal


Athletic Bilbao are poised to splash out €60 milllion (€54m/$68m) on Real Sociedad youngster Mikel Oyarzabal, Marca reports.

The striker will be offered a contract that runs five to seven years and will be worth €5m during the first season. 

The release clause of the 21-year-old player is €50m but to move to rivals Athletic, it is €10m more. 

Man Utd target Godin to renew until 2021


Atletico Madrid centre-back Diego Godin will sign a new contract with the club that will run until 2021, Marca reports.

The defender was one of many targeted by Manchester United during the summer, though he rebuffed their interest late in the transfer window in order to stay in Spain.

The 31-year-old is Atleti's captain and a keystone of Diego Simeone's side.

Zaha commits himself to Crystal Palace


Wilfried Zaha has told Crystal Palace to offer him a new deal, despite interest from Chelsea.

The Ivory Coast international wants to stay put and has opened the door for a new contract at Selhurst Park.

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is closing on a loan switch to AC Milan, where he has undergone a medical on Monday.

Nabil Fekir will “95 per cent” stay at Lyon, at least in the short term, according to club president Jean-Michel Aulas.

Liverpool failed to finalise a deal for the attacker, while Chelsea were also linked, and with the Premier League window now closed a move elsewhere in Europe would be required.

Iceland international midfielder Albert Gudmundsson is set to join AZ from PSV, according to Voetbal International.

The 21-year-old, who rejected Arsenal before moving to Netherlands, will look to impress at AZ after a bright spell in PSV's academy.

Madrid could turn to Werner


Real Madrid could turn to RB Leipzig's Timo Werner as they look to sign attacking reinforcements before the end of the summer window, Don Balon reports.

The Santiago Bernabeu side, now without Cristiano Ronaldo, have been linked with a move for Rodrigo Moreno, but Valencia have warned the attacker will cost €120 million.

As such, Madrid feel they will get more value for money from Germany international Werner.

Real Madrid are looking to swoop for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot, diariogol claims. 

The move would serve the double purpose of hurting Barcelona and strengthening the relationship between Los Blancos and the French club. 

Bale wants Rodrigo at Madrid


Gareth Bale wants Real Madrid to sign a new number 9 before the close of the transfer window, and according to Don Balon the top target is Rodrigo. 

The 27-year-old from Valencia would give the club depth behind Karim Benzema and is a proven scorer in La Liga

Bartomeu leaves door open to Pogba


Barcelona still have time to sign the midfielder this summer

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu refused to discuss links with Manchester United star Paul Pogba, though he did leave the door open to a possible move before the transfer window shuts.

Asked about Pogba following Barca's 2-1 win against Sevilla in Sunday's Supercopa de Espana, Bartomeu said: "I won't speak of any names, we have respect for all clubs and there are 20 days left."

Tuchel uncertain over Rabiot's PSG future


Thomas Tuchel is unsure of Adrien Rabiot's future at Paris Saint-Germain amid reports the midfielder has rejected a new contract.

The France international, who refused to be on his country's standby list for the World Cup, scored the second goal in a 3-0 Ligue 1 opening weekend win at home to Caen on Sunday.

Milan to offer €110m plus Borini for Milinkovic-Savic


Serie A side to pay over requested with loan coming first

AC Milan are ready to make a massive €110 million (£98m/$125m) plus Fabio Borini bid to land Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to CalcioMercato.

Lazio have asked for €100m for their star man, and while Milan won't pay that sum outright, they are ready to offer €40m for a loan with a €70m option to buy included. 

Milan are also willing to part with Borini if it will help get the deal closed.

Adrien Rabiot is at risk of spending much of the year on the bench after snubbing PSG's offer of new terms, according to Marca

The French side are not pleased that Rabiot will not commit his future to the club, and it is believed he may face punishment in the form of being benched for most of the year after the snub.
