Salah reveals how Liverpool love began
Liverpool have the famous video game FIFA to thank for allowing them to lure their best player to Anfield.
Superstar attacker Mohamed Salah has been an impeccable signing for the Reds since his arrival from Roma last year, becoming an immediate star for Jurgen Klopp's men.
But the Egyptian's love for Liverpool began long before he was signed as it first started to blossom in a video game.
“When I played FIFA or another video game, I always took Liverpool in 2005,” he told France Football.
“I would always put Steven Gerrard in the No.10 because he had an amazing shot! Then, I’d put Jerzy Dudek in goal, and the central defenders would be Jamie Carragher and Sami Hyypia. But I played with Liverpool on my console well before 2005.”

The club does not agree with that valuation, and though both sides are willing to be patient, it could force City's hand in the summer if the situation is not resolved by then.
