Ronaldo arrives in Turin

Cristiano Ronaldo has arrived in Turin ahead of his first training session with Juventus on Monday. 

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star completed a shock €100 million (£88m/$117m) move to Serie A following the World Cup in Russia and was unveiled by the club earlier this month. 

And while the club are still on pre-season tour in the United States, Ronaldo and other members who missed out after the World Cup are expected to take part in training at the club's home base on Monday.

Man Utd must pay Alexis-level money for Lewy

Manchester United must be willing to pay Robert Lewandowski similar wages to Alexis Sanchez if they wish to sign him, according to the Daily Star.

The Bayern Munich striker has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but United are also said to be interested. However, the Red Devils would have to fork out the same level of remuneration as Sanchez, who is reported to earn in the region of £500k ($655k) a week. 

Witsel set for Dortmund medical

Axel Witsel will undergo a medical with Borussia Dortmund on Monday ahead of a move from Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian, reports RTBF.

The Belgium international spent a year and a half in China following his transfer from Zenit in January 2017, but looks set for a return to Europe with the Bundesliga outfit.

Newcastle chasing Lejeune replacement

Florian Lejeune has suffered a cruciate ligament injury that means the Newcastle United defender will need surgery, leaving the club in search of replacements.

Real Madrid are considering a £100 million ($131m) swoop for Chelsea duo Thibaut Courtois and Willian, according to the Daily Mail.

Los Blancos have long been linked with Blues goalkeeper Courtois, but have added Willian to their wishlist, with the Brazil international expected to cost around £65m ($85m).

Newcastle accept £22m Fulham bid for Mitrovic
