Tusker have unveiled Ugandan defender Jimmy Kulaba with three days left to the end of the transfer window.
The brewers’ unveiled the former URA FC defender in a brief ceremony held on Friday. “We are proud to announce the arrival of Kulaba from URA. He will be part of our squad for the remainder of the season.”
Kulaba arrives in Tusker after being released by the Ugandan side. “Kulaba Jimmy has officially been released by URA Football Club to join Tusker FC of Kenya. The former captain has been at URA FC since 2014. URA FC wishes the player all the best Kenya.”
Kulaba has played for URA FC for four years after joining in from Police FC at the start of the 2014-15 season. He was also named captain in the 2016-17 season replacing Oscar Agaba.
The lanky defender becomes the second player to leave the tax collectors after roving right back Fred Okot, who joined Vipers SC. Kulaba has now joined fellow Ugandan players Hashim Sempala, Robert Achema and Mathew Odongo, who are at Tusker.
