Dylan Kerr has conceded the exit of his captain is a blow to the team considering he was one of the most experienced players

Gor Mahia fans woke up to a rude shock this week after news of Musa Mohamed's exit hit the airwaves.

The skipper, who has been influential for the Green Army for the past seven seasons, winning five league titles, left the country for trials in Turkey and could also sign for KF Tirana in Albania.

Head coach Dylan Kerr has conceded the departure of his captain is a blow to the team considering he was one of the most experienced players.

“Well, Musa has been here for quite some time and he has been very effective to the team. Well, he lied to me when I asked him about his rumored move and that has left me disappointed.

“However, I wish him all the best, maybe he felt he needed the change, or maybe the move will better his career same with Muguna, well, I hope it goes well with them,” Kerr told Goal.

The 2016 MVP has since reunited with former coach Ze Maria at KF Tirana.
