AFC Leopards are still in the market for a quality striker ahead of the new 2018 season.

The GOtv Shield champions are preparing for the Caf Confederation Cup as well as the Kenyan Premier League this season, and the management is aware of the demands ahead.

According to club chairman Dan Mule, the team is also considering whether to give former Gor Mahia man Collins 'Gattuso' Okoth a contract.

"Well, we are not yet done, we are still looking for a striker. He might be a foreigner but definitely with quality because we want someone to help us get goals," Mule told Goal.

"We have not yet finalized 'Gattuso's' contract, the coach has not submitted his report, once he does so then we will see what to do. I think by tomorrow we will have it."

Ingwe started their training last week hoping to have sharper claws before the season officially kicks-off.
