The Scotsman has played down Sunday's showdown with their arch-rivals

Despite being about to be involved in Ghana's biggest club game of the football calendar, Hearts of Oak coach Frank Nuttall is philosophic ahead of their clash with nemesis Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The two teams are set to renew their rivalry at Kumasi's Baba Yara Stadium in what will be their 106th league meeting.

For Nuttall, it will be his first league trip to the venue.

“Every game is a big game so it is another game," the Scotsman told his club's official website.

"We trained well this week and I am sure we will be ready for the game.

“Our players are just focused players and are concentrating on the next game of football regardless of whom it is against.

"So it is business as usual, since you cross that white line, you are going to win the game.”

The former Gor Mahia coach also spoke about their fans as well as the injury doubts surrounding midfielder duo Leonard Tawiah and Winful Cobbinah, who both missed last week's FA Cup win over Danbort.

“I have heard good things about the fans in Kumasi and so hopefully, I will witness that [against Kotoko]," Nuttall added.

“They [Tawiah and Cobbinah] are already in the travelling squad.

"[They are involved and we will see what will happens.”

Hearts have won 35 of the 105 league meetings so far, drawing 37 and losing 33.

The Phobians have also fallen just once in the topflight in Kumasi since 2006.
