The Ghana international registered his second goal in the Bundesliga this season as the Eagles were forced to share the spoils

Kevin-Prince Boateng was on target in Eintracht Frankfurt’s 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim in Saturday’s German Bundesliga fixture at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

The 30-year-old who joined the Commerzbank-Arena outfit from Spanish La Liga side, Las Palmas in August, opened scoring with just his second Bundesliga goal this season.

The former AC Milan and Schalke 04 midfielder fired in a stunning strike from outside the penalty area to give Niko Kovac’s men the lead in the 13th minute.

Boateng’s effort stood as the only difference in the encounter until Marc Uth grabbed the equalizer for Julian Nagelsmann’s men at the death to earn the hosts a share of the spoil.

Boateng opened his Bundesliga goal account in the Eagles 1-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach on September 9 and will hope to increase his tally when they host Bayer Leverkusen in their next league game on November 25.

Eintracht Frankfurt are placed sixth in the Bundesliga log with 19 points - ten behind league leaders Bayern Munich - from 12 games.
