Young striker Masoud Juma takes to social media to hit out at critics, who made a mockery of his failed bid to join paid ranks

Kariobangi Sharks striker Masoud Juma has hit out at critics, who made a mockery of his failed bid to land a professional contract in Europe.

Juma, who drew mixed reactions from fans after he was handed a starting berth by Stanley Okumbi in Harambee Stars’ 2-1 defeat to Sierra Leone in a Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, failed to impress at Swedish sides AIK Fotball and Jonkopings Sodra after two weeks of trials and returned home.

I don't need you guys to get where I want,” he wrote in one of the Facbook football forum groups before giving reference to his national team mate, Michael Olunga, who also failed his initial trials.

“Even Olunga (Michael) attended trials in SA (South Africa) and he failed but now he is among the best strikers, and our national team main striker.
