Kariobangi Sharks sign 18-year-old midfielder

Kariobangi Sharks have signed youngster Fidel Oduor as the club engages a higher gear in the December/January transfer window.

Sharks, who finished third last season, lured 18 year-old Oduor to their ranks with a four-year contract.

"Fidel is a young and very talented player; the type of player we believe will be part of the future of Kenyan football that is taking a curve towards being smarter and very technical,” said the club on their official Facebook page.

Oduor, a former African Heroes FC player, impressed Sharks scouts in pre-season trials. The young signing is expected to add depth to Sharks' midfield even as coach William Muluya will be hoping that he make a significant contribution to the squad.

“My dream is to work hard as much as I possibly can, get more play-time and in the end, see if I can get a chance to play in a foreign league in future."

Sharks will be returning for a second stint to the Kenya Premier League next season having impressed in their debut year.
