Efforts from Serdar Aziz & Eren Derdiyok, with an own goal from Bakary Kone inspired the Yellow-Reds to their first victory of the new campaign

Henry Onyekuru has praised Galatasaray’s team spirit after their 3-1 comeback win over Ankaragucu in Friday’s Turkish Super Lig encounter.

After going down to a Moestafa El Kabir goal in the seventh minute, the reigning champions fought back at the Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium to secure a vital win to start their title defence.

Fatih Terim handed the 21-year-old his league debut and was on parade for 84 minutes before Algeria winger Sofiane Feghouli came on in his place.

“Great start to the season! Three points [achieved with] amazing team spirit and result,” Onyekuru tweeted.
