Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr has dismissed claims that AFC Leopards will rule the local scene soon.

AFC Leopards coach Rodolfo Zapata revealed to Goal on Monday that he was confident the former league champions are making good progress.

Ingwe has not won the league since 1998 and Rodolfo has been brought on board to deliver that. The tactician is aiming at helping the twelve-time league champions dominate the local scene in the near future.

“AFC Leopards is a big club, no doubt about that and I am happy to have the opportunity of leading it. Yes, it is a massive responsibility for me, and the pressure to deliver has to be there.

"I am sure this team will dominate soon, and win the league for the fans as well as those associated with it. We are building a team, and we are very close to achieving what we want.”

The statement has not gone down well with Kerr, who has laughed off the same in his twitter account. “The best laughter I’ve had in a long long time.”

Ingwe is currently fourth on the league following their 1-0 win against Sony Sugar while Gor Mahia are on top.
