Gor Mahia captain Haron Shakava has challenged the team to be clinical when they take on US Alger in the Caf Confederations.
A win for the hosts will send them top of group D with four points from two matches.
Shakava believes that Gor Mahia can bag maximum points if they take their chances on Wednesday at the Kasarani Stadium.
"We have been playing very well, troubling any side but our problem has been in front of the goal. We are not clinical enough, for instance, the match we played against Hull City, we were a better side for the better part of the game but we could not score.
"That has to change against USM, we need to score goals in order to stand a better chance of winning the match."
“We will play as a team with one aim - to win. They (USM Alger) are a good side but we are a good team as well and we believe in what we can do. We have equal chances of getting the best out of this match and we will offer our best to achieve the best."
Gor Mahia are second on the log with one point, two adrift of group leaders USM Alger.
