Chelsea v AFC Bournemouth

The Blues should have no problem winning this one as they are unbeaten in eight league games. On top of that, they have beaten the Cherries in the last five Premier League meetings between the two sides.

Picking a goalscorer is a bit harder, especially with the uncertainty surrounding Michy Batshuayi’s future and Alvaro Morata’s fitness, but Eden Hazard has scored three goals in his last three games and has five against Bournemouth in his career.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Scorer: Eden Hazard

Southampton v Brighton and Hove Albion

Neither of these teams are in any kind of form this season, which goes a long way to explaining why they sit 18th and 16th in the table, respectively.

Only West Brom have drawn more league games this term than the Saints and the Seagulls, who have amassed a combined 18 stalemates in their 48 matches.

Prediction: Southampton 1-1 Brighton

Manchester City v West Bromwich Albion

Fresh off their FA Cup heroics at Anfield, West Brom will be looking to repeat the feat at the Etihad Stadium – but are unlikely to have the same kind of luck.

The Baggies have a resilient defence, as underlined by them conceding just 31 goals in the league this season, but the quality of Pep Guardiola’s side should see them to the win.

Sergio Aguero has seven goals against West Brom and with Gabriel Jesus still out, looks a sure bet to net again here.

Prediction: Manchester City 2-0 West Bromwich Albion

Scorer: Sergio Aguero

Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United

Arguably the pick of the midweek games, Spurs know they need to avoid defeat to maintain their top four challenge. The Red Devils sit eight points clear of their London opponents, and for that reason they will likely set up to avoid defeat rather than to win.

Tottenham have scored in all but one of their last 39 home matches and so will probably break Man United down, but Alexis Sanchez breached the Spurs defence in November whilst at Arsenal and will be fired up on his Premier League debut for his new club.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Manchester United

Scorer: Alexis Sanchez
