Orlando Pirates forward Thembinkosi Lorch has been urged not to rest on his laurels by Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic.

The midfielder-come-striker has been in top form for the Buccaneers having scored in each of Bucs' last three games in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Lorch, who is one of Bucs' key players, has found the back of the net against Chippa United, Kaizer Chiefs and Lamontville Golden Arrows.

Pirates head coach Sredojevic stated that the skillful player should continue to work hard in order to reach his full potential.

"I call him Lorcolinho, because he has an exceptional talent, but he is yet to reach his full potential," Sredojevic told Isolezwe.

"We cannot allow him to think he has reached the highest level of his talent or performance," he said.

"We always urge and encourage him to improve and do better," the former Rwanda national team head coach continued.

Lorch's displays in Bucs colours did not go unnoticed as he was included in the South Africa squad that participated in the recent Four-Nation tournament in Zambia.

The 24-year-old helped Bafana Bafana win the tournament which was played during the Fifa international break.

"I expect him to grow from each game we play. For him being part of the national team will challenge him to do better and will inspire him," he added.

"He really works hard to reach his potential and to be at the highest level," the four-time Ethiopian Premier League title winning coach concluded.

The Bloemfontein-born attacker has hit the back of the net four times in 17 league matches for the Buccaneers this season.

Lorch is one of Pirates' key players as they look to win their first PSL title since 2012.

The Soweto giants are only a point behind league table leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who have a game in hand.

Bucs will face Bloemfontein Celtic in a league game at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday.
