FIFA 19 Emerging Champions: Which Bundesliga starlet will rise in the Champions League?

The UEFA Champions League is the grandest stage club football has to offer.

And Europe's premier club competition has the power to unearth the next superstar or propel an unknown youngster to a household name overnight.

There's no better place in world football to find as much young talent as the Bundesliga right now. 

And a host of them are in line to see some UCL action on Matchday 3, but who will become an emerging champion this season?

Jadon Sancho is fast becoming one of the world’s leading teenagers and has the joint-most assists in Europe’s top 5 leagues with six.

Another young Englishman flourishing in Germany is Arsenal star Reiss Nelson, who after already finding the net during his loan spell at Hoffenheim has become the only 18-year-old to have scored 3+ goals in two of Europe’s top 5 leagues.

At Schalke, 20-year-old USA international Weston McKennie has been dominating the UCL, with a competition-best 10 interceptions in the competition so far this season.

Over in Munich, meanwhile, giant defender Niklas Sule is leading the way with a club-best 24 successful aerial duels in the Bundesliga.
