Ghana's dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Jnr, popularly known as Shatta Wale, claims that he was more brilliant than former classmate and Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.
Shatta was the master of ceremony (MC) during Sarkodie's 2017 Rapperholic concert held at the International Conference Centre in Accra on Boxing Day, and upon spotting Gyan and his brothers in the VIP section, told the crowd that the former Sunderland star once shared the same class with him but that he fared better than the footballer.
Shatta also revealed that his favourite subject back in school was Physical Education (P.E) and sarcastically pleaded with Gyan to let them exchange careers.
“Asamoah, I think we should exchange professions, come do music and let me play football,” he said.
Aside Gyan, other notable guests that graced the event included British-born comedian of Ghanaian descent Michael Dapaah also known as Big Shaq, Samini, Obrafour and a host of Ghana Premier League players.
Shatta has released 113 songs in 2017 including hit tracks Ayoo, Takin Over, Forgetti and Umbrella.
Goal understands that Shatta and Gyan are preparing to release a song.
