English club Stevenage part ways with South African defender Ntlhe

South African defender Kgosietsile Ntlhe has parted ways with Stevenage FC.

The 23-year-old  joined the English League Two outfit from Peterborough United prior to the recent 2016/17 season.

Ntlhe featured regularly for the Boro - making 22 league appearances for the club.

However, on Wednesday, Stevenage released the following statements on their official website:

"Stevenage FC can confirm that Kgosi Ntlhe has been released," statement read.

"The club would like to thank Kgosi for his hard work during his time at Stevenage," another statement read.

The left-back was born in Pretoria and he was nurtured in the Peterborough academy in Cambridgeshire, before being promoted to the first team.

He made his Bafana Bafana debut in a 1-1 draw against Morocco in a friendly match which was played at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir four years ago.
