The win saw Tusker make it two out of two after downing Vihiga United 2-0 last weekend. Robert Matano is yet to lose a league match in the last five outings.
Elsewhere, Nzoia Sugar settled for a point after they held Posta Rangers to a goalless draw at the Sudi Stadium.
KPL leading scorer Elvis Rupia blew away a chance to take his goal tally to 16 when he missed from the spot.
