Elche CF have confirmed the signing of Francis Uzoho on a season-long loan deal from Deportivo La Coruna.
The 19-year-old whose move is subject to medicals [to be carried out on Monday] will play the 2018-19 season with the Spanish second division outfit.

In 2016, Uzoho joined Deportivo’s Juvenile side from Qatar’s Aspire Academy and signed a professional contract in January 2017.
At 18 years 11 months and 17 days, he became the youngest ever foreign goalkeeper to appear in the Spanish LaLiga after making an impressive debut against Eibar.
The youngster made one more appearance for the senior side before dropping to the B team where he played 26 times in the Spanish third tier.
Also, Uzoho, who made his Nigeria bow in a surprise win over Argentina in November 2017, starred at the 2018 World Cup, playing every minute as Gernot Rohr’s side crashed out in the group stages.
With the deal subject to medicals, the shot-stopper will not be part of Elche’s squad to take on Osasuna on Sunday.
Pacheta’s side started the 2018-19 campaign with a goalless stalemate with Granada last week.
