Derby County and Leeds United round off the weekend’s Championship action when they go head-to-head at Pride Park on Saturday teatime.

Both teams are managed by some of the biggest names in world football and, after each claimed three points each on day one, they have an opportunity to begin their campaigns with a winning sequence.

Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds are 8/1 (9.0) for the title with dabblebet while Frank Lampard's Derby are available at 10/3 (4.33) for promotion.

Latest odds

The Rams are 23/20 (2.15) to take the spoils here, having won four of their last five home encounters and eight of the last 10 against the Whites.

Their visitors though blew Stoke away 3-1 on Sunday and are 12/5 (3.40) to build on that with another victory, whilst the draw, which occurred in this fixture last season, is 5/2 (3.50).

Team News

Bielsa is unlikely to make too many unforced changes, with Kemar Roofe’s opening day display meaning summer signing Patrick Bamford may remain on the bench.

However, Pontus Jansson could be back to full fitness and offers a more natural centre-back option than Gaetano Berardi.

Harry Wilson didn’t perform quite as well as he is capable of in the 2-1 win at Reading, so Florian Jozefzoon may be handed his debut on the right wing while new signing Scott Malone might replace Max Lowe at left-back.

Klich to threaten?

Not only did Mateusz Klich score Leeds’ opener last time out, he was given freedom to press high and break into goalscoring positions; only one central midfielder has had more shots from inside the area in the Championship so far.

The 17/4 (5.25) on Klich to score anytime looks good value, while the more speculative punter might be drawn to the 40/1 (41.0) on the Pole bagging a brace.

Preview and predictions

Derby looked vulnerable in transition early in their opening game and that was against Reading, who might not have played with the same quality and intensity that Leeds will.

El Loco’s side were 2-0 up at half-time in their first match, so it might be worth backing a repeat of that with the First Half Handicap: Leeds -1 at 16/1 (17.0). While Bielsa is in charge, scoring the first goal won’t quell the Yorkshire outfit’s desire to attack.
