Denmark v Australia: Live blog, text commentary, line-ups, stream & TV channel

FULL-TIME: DENMARK 1-1 AUSTRALIA!

92 mins: SAVE! Denmark win a corner which finds its way to Braithwaite on the left, but he doesn't catch his half-volley with any real conviction and it's an easy take for Ryan. That could well be the last opportunity for either side here.

90 mins: MISS! Eriksen tries his luck from the edge of the box, but he drags it well wide. Denmark need something special from him if they are to earn all three points here.

88 mins: SAVES! Arzani wriggles inside from the left and tries to catch Schmeichel out at his near post, but the goalkeeper is equal to it, before Leckie the goes for goal himself, but Schmeichel catches.

87 mins: Delaney gets away down the left, but gets his cross all wrong, blasting it high and into nobody. What a waste.

86 mins: Denmark advance into Australia's half and pen them in. They've hardly threatened in this half, but they need to find an attacking spark - and soon!

84 mins: Irvine barrels his way down the right and earns a free-kick after Delaney comes across and shoves him off the ball.

82 mins: Created automatically from live eventsIrvine replaces Rogic in Australia's final change of the match. Once again, Cahill remains an unused substitute.

81 mins: CHANCE! Arzani switches flanks with Leckie and beats Sisto excellently at the byline, before whipping a fantastic delivery across the face of goal, but nobody can get onto it! Australia really pushing for a winner here.

79 mins: CHANCE! Arzani injects a bit of pace as he beats his man and whips a sharp cross into the area, but Leckie can only connect with his shoulder and it skews well wide.

77 mins: Sisto's pass to Eriksen is cut out and Rogic leads the charge, playing Juric in for his first few touches, and the striker holds it up well before recycling possession.

75 mins: Created automatically from live eventsNabbout, who has given everything today for his country, falls awkwardly on his arm and looks to have dislocated his shoulder. He's clearly in great discomfort, and has to be replaced by Juric. That's a sad sight, and his World Cup is surely over now.

73 mins: MISS! Sisto cuts inside from the left as Denmark break quickly, despite Jedinak being down injured, and curls a wicked effort just wide of the far post! There looked to be a Denmark penalty shout too for holding in the area, but nothing is given.

72 mins: SAVE! Rogic twists and turns and works a yard before striking a low, curling shot at goal from outside the box, but Schmeichel hangs on!

71 mins: MISS! Arzani dances inside from the left and feeds Mooy, who opens his body up and lashes an effort towards the top corner, but it flies narrowly over the bar! Great strike from the midfielder!

Aaron Mooy, Christian Eriksen, Denmark vs Australia

68 mins: CHANCE! Schmeichel punches unconvincingly from a high ball and Leckie latches onto it, drilling a low ball through the keeper's legs and across the face of goal, but it's just cleared behind for a corner!

66 mins: It's all very slow and passive from Denmark as they pass the ball around the Australia penalty area, and Eriksen tries to force the pass and gives it away. Frustration is starting to creep into this Denmark side.

64 mins: Denmark haven't come close to threatening Australia in this half, and the abll is played off Jorgensen for a goal-kick. Perhaps another change is needed to inject some energy into the Danes.

62 mins: Rogic shows great feet to spin Christensen and send Leckie on his way, but once again he shows too much of the ball to his marker and it's pinched from him as he tries to break.

59 mins: Created automatically from live eventsPoulsen is replaced by Braithwaite out wide. The RB Leipzig man will not feature now until the knockout stages - assuming Denmark qualify and he is reinstated following his suspension.

58 mins: Danish pressure comes to nothing again, and Australia break quickly from winning the ball, but Kruse takes an age over his cross and his delivery doesn't beat the first man. What a waste.

55 mins: Leckie has started this half as he ended the first - with great energy - and he's involved again as Australia craft a flowing attack down the right, but Risdon's cross is awful and massively overhit.

54 mins: CHANCE! Behich gallops into space on the left and clips in a teasing cross, but it's just headed away from Leckie at the back post!

53 mins: A rare loose pass from Eriksen gifts the ball to mooy, and Australia get out of their half and escape the Danish pressure.

51 mins: CHANCE! Poulsen charges into the area and goes down under pressure, but Jorgensen flicks the loose ball onto Sisto, who fires a shot at goal first-time, but it's deflected behind! Inexplicably, the referee awards a goal-kick! Denmark are not happy.

50 mins: Sisto is robbed of the ball again and Leckie surges down the right before squaring for Rogic, who ends up running into a crowd of Danish defenders.

48 mins: Sisto then tries to jink inside from the left wing, but he's crowded out and loses the ball. He'll want to pick up some form and momentum ahead of Poulsen's suspension against France.

47 mins: Jedinak heads down fo Leckie, who makes a curved run towards the edge of the area with the ball, but he shows too much of it to Kjaer, who plays it off him and behind for a goal-kick.

46 mins: Australia get the game going again for the start of the second half!

Denmark were clearly on top early on, but seemed to take their foot off the gas after going ahead. Australia will likely regroup and dig in during the second half, reverting to their original plan, meaning Denmark will have to show their class if they are to break them down again, and will need to maintain their performance levels to stay on top.

A gripping half saw Denmark take an early lead through a classy Eriksen strike, rifling a half-volley home from Jorgensen's flick, but VAR spotted a handball from Poulsen to award Australia a penalty, and Jedinak kept his composure to slot past Schmeichel and level the scores. Poulsen's booking means he will miss Denmark's final group game against France.

HALF-TIME: DENMARK 1-1 AUSTRALIA

45+1 mins: Sisto just can't quite stretch to bring down a lofted forward pass as he races into the box, allowing Ryan to sweep up gratefully.

44 mins:  Mooy whips a free-kick of his own into the box, but it's too deep and evades everyone. There's more penalty appeals from those in green as it's retrieved and lumped back in, before being dealt with again. Sainsbury feels he was pushed in the area, but there will be no penalty this time.

42 mins:  SAVE! Eriksen's free-kick causes chaos in the penalty area, but Ryan clings desperately onto a goal-bound flick to relieve the pressure. Australia will want to get to half-time on level terms here.

40 mins:  That goal has put an end to Schmeichel's record of five matches in a row without conceding for Denmark - a national record!

38 mins:  GOAL!!! AUSTRALIA ARE LEVEL AT 1-1! Jedinak ignores Schmeichel's attempt to put him off, sending him the wrong way and slotting home calmly to equalise! Australia are back in it!

37 mins: Poulsen is booked for handball, meaning he misses Denmark's final group game against France.

37 mins:  PENALTY! After consulting with VAR, the referee awards a penalty! Milligan's header clearly struck the outstretched arm of Poulsen, and Australia have a way back into the game!

36 mins:  Mooy whips a corner into the box and Milligan heads the ball into the crowd, and there's cries of handball, but the referee waves it away! Surely VAR will be used.

34 mins:  Nabbout retrieves the ball in the corner and tries to drive inside, but Stryger Larsen puts in a splendid sliding challenge and wins the  ball back cleanly.

32 mins:  Rogic goes down after being wined by a challenge, but the referee says there's no foul and Denmark get the chance they were waiting for to get back on the ball and push Australia back into their own half.

30 mins:  CHANCE! Leckie - back on the right flank - runs at Stryger Larsen and beats him well, pulling the ball back into the middlefor Kruse, but his shot is blocked! Mooy then miscues a volley, allowing Denmark to regroup.

29 mins:  Australia still look bright, advancing forward with the ball and enjoying a spell of possession here. Denmark are having to sit in and hold on.

27 mins: Australia are growing into the game here, as Leckie swaps flanks with Kruse and makes excellent progress down the left. He throws a couple of stepovers in and works a yard to cross, but he can't pick anyone out in the box!

26 mins:  Behich beats his man well and lofts the ball into the box, but it's headed away. The loose ball falls to Risdon, however, who pumps it back in again, and Denmark only just get it away, clearing their lines aimlessly.

24 mins:  MISS! Dalsgaard whips in a wonderful cross from the right that flies perfectly into the path of Jorgensen, but the striker somehow puts his header wide from six yards out! Unbelievable miss! Denmark should be 2-0 up.

22 mins:  SAVE! The ball sits up nicely for Sisto and he lashes a volley at goal with his left boot. He gets good power on the strike but it's a little too central and Ryan holds it well.

19 mins:  Rogic slips Kruse in down the left with a lovely through-ball, but Kjaer read it well, coming across and playing the ball out off the winger for a goal-kick.

17 mins:  Denmark look very much in control of this one now that they're in the lead. Australia no doubt intended to set up frustrate their opponents as much as possible before possibly grabbing a goal themselves, but they'll have to chase the game now.

15 mins:  That strike means Eriksen has had a hand in 18 goals in his last 15 appearances for Denmark (13 goals, 5 assists). He is undoubtedly the star of this side.

13 mins:  Denmark have weathered the storm and have got their foot back on the ball now, and are keeping it well, knocking the ball around confidently.

11 mins:  Christensen is on hand to prevent another Australian advance and concedes another corner, but the delivery is dealt with comfortably.

8 mins:  Leckie tries to hit back immediately as he charges down the wing and runs at Dalsgaard, but the full-back gets away with conceding a corner.

7 mins:  Jorgensen flicked the ball into Eriksen's path well, but the Danish maestro's technique had to be spot-on to convert that chance, and he did it superbly!

7 mins:  GOAL!! ERIKSEN GIVES DENMARK THE LEAD! It's 1-0 early on to the Danes here, and it's a lovely strike from Eriksen! It's worked through to Jorgensen well and the striker flicks it into the playmaker's path, who hits the ball sweetly on the bounce with his left foot and rifles it up and into the net from just inside the box! What a goal!

6 mins: MISS! The corner results in the best chance of the game so far, as Leckie climbs higher than everyone, but heads straight over the bar! He has to be hitting the target there.

5 min s : Australia win the ball after some sustained Danish pressure and hit front-man Nabbout early with a ball from deep. He lays it off to Rogic in support, and his left-footed effort from outside the box is deflected behind for a first Australia corner!

3 mins:  Delaney throws himself at Eriken's whipped corner, but can't direct his effort anywhere near the target. Denmark have started on the front foot here - much better than their showing against Peru.

2 mins: Denmark immediately win a free-kick on the right as Dalsgaard is fouled, and Eriksen's excellent delivery into the box is just a little high for its intended target, allowing Australia to clear behind for a corner.

1 min:  And we're off! Denmark get us underway!

However, Denmark have not won their opening two World Cup fixtures since their tournament debut in 1986, and have never kept consecutive clean sheets in the competition.

Australia have lost their last four World Cup games in succession, conceding at least twice each time, and have been beaten in seven of their nine World Cup games against European opposition.

This is the first-ever World Cup between these two sides, although they have played three times previously in friendly games, with Denmark winning two and Australia victorious in one.

10 mins until KO : Australia are unchanged, having pushed pre-tournament favourites France all the way in their 2-1 defeat. Despite earning no points, head coach Bert van Marwijk can take great heart from his side's spirited performance, and will certainly hope that a similar showing here yields a better result.

Age Hareide is forced into a change from his side's 1-0 win over Peru in the first round of fixtures as William Kvist's tournament appears to be over following an injury in that game. Schone - who replaced him on the day - takes his place from the start here.
