The young Australian is keen to pull a move on one of the world's best players

Socceroos talent Daniel Arzani says he would like to nutmeg France and Manchester United star Paul Pogba at the World Cup.

The 19-year-old will be hoping to feature in Australia's opening match in Russia against France in Kazan on June 16 after being selected in Bert Van Marwijk's preliminary Socceroos squad for the pre-tournament camp in Turkey.

Arzani participated in a Q&A video via the National Bank Australia Twitter account where he was asked by @Joseph_Belfiore: "Which player he was looking forward to nutmegging at the World Cup?"

"I want to nutmeg Pogba," Arzani responded, citing the Frenchman's long legs as a reason to try the move on him.

NAB's tweet and video of Arzani's Pogba jibe was mysteriously deleted from their account shortly after being published.

The Melbourne City winger was also asked, 'if you could have the traits of any footballer, who's would you pick and why?'

"For me it would definitely have to Ronaldinho - he's my favourite player," Arzani said

"My favourite trait of his would be the way he plays, the way he expresses himself on the field."

The final 23-man Socceroos World Cup squad will be named on June 3 - two days after the friendly against Czech Republic in Austria.

After facing France in their first World Cup match, Australia will take on Denmark (June 21 AEST) and Peru (June 27 AEST)in their mission to qualify from group C.
