Comoros’ Said Bakari on target in RKC Waalwijk’s loss to Zulte-Waregem

Said Bakari was on target as RKC Waalwijk lost 3-1 to Belgian Division A side Zulte-Waregem in a friendly encounter at Complex Gaversesteenweg on Tuesday evening.

Hans de Koning’s men started their pre-season campaign on an uninspiring note, conceding in both half and the 23-year-old’s effort could do little to save the day for the side.

Theo Bongonda found the net in the 37th minute to put Francky Dury’s charges in front and in the 76th minute Mikael Soisalo increased the lead.

Soisalo then completed his brace four minutes later to give the Regenboogstadion outfit a comfortable lead.

Bakari got the consolation three minutes before full time, his fourth goal for the club since he joined in 2017.

The Dutch outfit will be looking to return to winning ways when they clash with PEC Zwolle in their next warm-up game on July 17.
