Britt Assombalonga scored the winner as Middlesbrough defeated Birmingham City 1-0 in their English Championship clash.

Having enduring a dry patch in Boro's first two opening clashes against Millwall and Sheffield United, the bulky forward hit the back of the net after 12 minute at the Riverside Stadium.
