Yanga striker Obrey Chirwa is stepping up his race to be fit for Yanga’s African Champions League clash against Township Rollers next week.
The Zambian has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury during Yanga’s Ligi Kuu win over Maji Maji on February 14.
Chirwa who is the team’s top scorer is eager to make a rare comeback in order to help his team to progress in the Champions League.
“I feel better now, I want to be in contention to play in the CAF Champions League first leg tie, if the coach choses me I will fight hard to help my team,” said Chirwa.
Yanga will host Botswana giants Township Rollers in March 7 in the first leg of CAF Champion League tie which will be held in the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam.
