Boniface Ambani lash out at AFC Leopards for firing coaches

Former Kenyan International Boniface Ambani has hit out at AFC Leopards for hiring and firing coaches.

Ambani took issue with the recent firing of Ingwe’s Team Manager Tonny Lidonde and Goalkeeper trainer Alex Mwangi to lash out at AFC Leopards’ executive for destabilizing the team by continuous change of technical bench.

“Team Manager Tonny Lidonde and Keeper trainer Alex Mwangi aka Mwango out..Shown The Door...Hiring and firing will never be a solution,” the former Tusker and Yanga striker lamented on his social media page.

AFC Leopards set to unveil another coach on Friday

“Are they the cause of poor results at the Den?” posed the 34 year-old, 2006 Golden Boot winner with 20 goals for Tusker in the Kenyan Premier League.

With the latest news that Robert Matano is set to be unveiled as the next Ingwe coach adds to three (four plus Tom Juma) the number of coaches, who have handled AFC Leopards just this season.

First to leave the Den was Stewart Hall, then followed by Dorian Marin, Tony Lidonde, Mwangi and assistant coach Denis Kitambi is also on his way out after tendering his resignation on Wednesday.

AFC Leopards has only won four of their last 15 matches, leaviing them 12th on the log with 16 points.
