The La Liga weekend kicks-off in Madrid as Rayo Vallecano host Espanyol.

Given that Rayo's clashes at this ground so far have both ended in defeat by a 9-2 aggregate score line, their position as narrow favourites looks a shaky one and they should be opposed given the evidence available based on the first few weeks of the campaign.
