Palace are 11/12 (1.92) with 888Sport to win the game and that looks a good selection considering the issues facing the visitors in the early part of the campaign.
Saints finished 17th last term and don't appear to have made many steps forward in terms of their squad depth based on their displays so far.
Palace may only have three points to their name, but Roy Hodgson's men were impressive despite losing 2-0 to Liverpool and missed a gilt-edged chance to take a share of the spoils against Watford last weekend when Joel Ward headed wide from close range.
The impressive form of Wilfried Zaha has got to be a concern for a Saints backline that have conceded four times in two games. The Ivory Coast international is a 7/4 (2.75) shot to score anytime but the better bet is to simply back the home side to secure three points.
Southampton did just enough to avoid relegation last season but given the quality of the promoted sides this term, they look legitimate candidates for the drop once more and Palace can heap more misery on the south coast side at 11/12 (1.92) by winning their second league game of the campaign.
