The bookmakers believe Tuesday's hosts are the most likely team to progress, but our tipster believes this could be a close game at Kenilworth Road

There's an intriguing FA Cup third round replay at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday evening.

Luton Town, who are chasing promotion from League One, take on a Sheffield Wednesday side who have had their fair share of struggles so far this season.

Steve Bruce has agreed to take over the Owls and while the 58-year-old has had some input already, he won't officially be in place until February so Steve Agnew will remain in charge until then.

While they play in different divisions, only 10 places separate these teams in the Football League pyramid.

The home side are 888Sport's 27/20 (2.35) favourites to win the game in normal time. Wednesday for their part are available at 2/1 (3.0) with another draw at 23/10 (3.30) with the online bookmaker.

The winner of this tie will be rewarded with a money-spinning trip to Chelsea, so while both sides have important league games at the weekend, there should be plenty of motivation to fully focus on the matter at hand without too much rotation - as was the case in the first leg.

Luton are clearly the in-form team in this clash, unbeaten in nine games in all competitions since a defeat on penalties in the EFL Trophy in early December. The departure of manager Nathan Jones to Stoke City though, may detract from their appeal as a punting proposition.

The best selection here looks to be backing another draw after 90 minutes. Including the first meeting, Luton have now seen each of their previous four matches finish all square.

The visitors were beaten 3-0 at a resurgent Hull City side at the weekend but they had drawn each of their three games prior to that.

The first leg ended 0-0 at Hillsborough and under 2.5 goals is priced at 4/5 (1.80) this time around. That looks to be a good selection for this clash too, but it could be worth siding with another 90 minute stalemate at 23/10 (3.30).

Luton have been excellent at home this term and they're worthy favourites but Jones' departure at such a crucial stage of the season makes them tough to back at a relatively short price on this occasion.

Wednesday won the shot count 13-6 at Hillsborough and while they're unlikely to be quite as aggressive on the road, they should have enough to hold their own at Kenilworth Road.

With little between the teams and both facing tough weekend assignments it would be no surprise to see extra time and potentially penalties needed to separate them and at 23/10 (3.30) the draw makes plenty of appeal.
