Betting Tips for Today: A 9/1 treble for Saturday's Premier League and Championship action

Comments()
After a 12/1 winner last weekend, our tipster attempts to land another big priced multiple with three picks from England's top two divisions

A week ago, we landed a 12/1 (13.0) Football League four-fold and go in search of another big priced winner on Saturday.

This time around there are three selections highlighted which, when placed as a treble, pay 9/1 (10.0) with 888Sport.

Watford to score two or more (over 1.5 away team goals)

Southampton's 6-1 defeat at Manchester United heaped pressure onto Mark Hughes. A loss at home to Watford would move the Saints boss closer to the exit door at St. Mary's Stadium and the Hornets look capable of making things even more uncomfortable for the struggling side and their manager.

The hosts have now leaked 20 goals in 11 games and Watford have the attacking flair to take advantage of a side devoid of confidence.

Isaac Success - Watford vs. Huddersfield Town

Javi Gracia's men have blown hot and cold after a promising start but should find plenty of joy in the final third on the south coast. The visitors have already scored twice or more against Tottenham, Wolves, Brighton and Crystal Palace amongst others and each of those offer a much sterner test than this weekend’s opponents.

This selection has landed against Southampton in four of their last six Premier League games and while Watford aren't the best on the road, it looks overpriced at 2/1 (3.0).

Norwich City to beat Millwall

Having won their sixth Championship game in their last eight, Norwich are second in the division only by goal difference. The Canaries romped to a 4-0 victory last weekend and look worth backing to extend their four-game winning streak as they host Millwall.

Jordan Rhodes Norwich City vs Wycombe Wanderers

The Lions are a tough opponent on their own patch but on the road, they pose much less of a threat. Eight matches away from home in the Championship this season have seen Neil Harris' side pick up just two points and that record doesn't bode well ahead of one of the toughest trips of the campaign.

Birmingham City to beat Hull City

Birmingham came up short against Derby last time out despite taking the lead at Pride Park. Punters shouldn't let that result put them off backing the Blues this time around though as their home record is very good. Unbeaten in front of their own fans in the league this term, Garry Monk's side are well capable of putting Hull City to the sword.

Garry Monk

The Tigers have won back-to-back games, a much-needed fillip although they still sit 23rd in the table. Hull have lost five of their eight away games this season and have only played two of the current top half - tasting defeat on each occasion.
