The Indie band shared the tribute to the Boys in Green midfielder, whose late goal against Italy secured Ireland's place in the last 16 of Euro 2016

Robbie Brady's decisive goal against Italy has inspired some of Ireland's musicians.

Mullingar Indie band The Academic were among those supporters who cheered as the Norwich City winger headed beyond Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu and they've been moved to pen a tribute.

"The voices are a little hoarse today, but after the heroics of last night we just had to pay tribute to this man!" the band wrote on their official Facebook page.

"We love you Robbie Brady! ‪#‎COYBIG‬"
