Arsenal star Mesut Ozil offered a reminder of his superb technique as he registered another assist in Saturday's north London derby.

The midfielder, 29, has regularly come in for criticism in some quarters during his time at the Gunners, but the Germany international stands out as the Premier League's best assist-maker in recent years.

Arsenal 6/1 for Europa League

Ozil set up yet another goal as Arsenal took the lead against Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium, finding Shkodran Mustafi with a lovely ball into the box.

The assist was Ozil's 45th since making his debut for Arsene Wenger's side in September 2013 - more than any other player in the top flight.

Mustafi's header was also Arsenal's 16th headed goal in 2017 - three more than any other team - with Ozil's crisp delivery into dangerous areas playing a crucial role.

Ozil's assist was his third in his last four league matches for Arsenal with the former Real Madrid man hitting his stride as the season approaches the winter period.
