The Gabon international contributed to the Gunners' victory over their north London neighbours with two goals on Sunday

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's brace in Arsenal's 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur has made him the first player to score with 10 consecutive shots on target in the Premier League since October 2007.

The 29-year-old broke former Blackburn striker Benni McCarthy's record with a brace that also extended his league tally to 10 goals.

Aubameyang broke the deadlock at the Emirates Stadium, converting from the penalty spot in the 10th minute after Jon Vertonghen handled the ball in the penalty area - an offence that earned him his first yellow card before he was later sent off in the second half.

Goals from Eric Dier and Harry Kane put the visitors ahead before Aubameyang inspired the Gunners' comeback, becoming the top scorer in the English top-flight with his 56th-minute leveller. Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira's quickfire strikes gave Unai Emery's men the victory.

Arsenal moved to the fourth place with 30 points - levelled on points with Tottenham. They will look to extend their unbeaten run of 19 games when they visit Old Trafford for their next Premier League match on Wednesday.
