Arsenal eye up Vazquez move
Alexis is desperate to leave Arsenal in the transfer window and wants to join Manchester City now, rather than wait to complete a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract expires.
A string of names has been mooted to replace the Chilean, with Madrid’s Vazquez now an option for Arsene Wenger, who feels the Spaniard has the qualities to compensate for Alexis’s departure.
David Luiz offered to Madrid
Barcelona have already twice turned down the chance to sign the centre-half, with Madrid also offered the opportunity of a deal. Arsenal have also been linked with a January approach for Luiz.
Dortmund rival Man Utd for Malcom
Manchester United are expected to make a £40 million bid for Malcom in January, with a view to allowing the Brazilian to stay at Bordeaux for the rest of the season.

However, when asked about any interest in signing the Gabon international this month, Wenger said: “No, that is not a possibility.”

Tarkowski staying with Burnley
The news that James Tarkowski has signed a new long-term deal with Burnley has forced a re-think for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City as they look for defensive signings, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The 25-year-old was also being chased by Chelsea and Arsenal, but has decided to stay at Turf Moor.
The signing has strengthened talk of Jonny Evans, Samuel Umtiti or Inigo Martinez singing as City go in search of another defender.
Arsenal turn to Aubameyang
Arsenal will look to make a January move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if Alexis Sanchez leaves during the transfer window, according to Gianluca Di Marzio .

"Monaco are not in the habit of making big sales in the winter. It's our strategy. The players understand and they know how it goes here," Jardim said.
Puel insists Mahrez is happy at Leicester
Leicester City manager Claude Puel believes Riyad Mahrez is happy at the club and rejected claims the winger will seek a move away in the January transfer window.
Many of Europe's biggest clubs have been monitoring the Algerian attacker, who handed in a transfer request this summer that ultimately went unfulfilled.
"He is happy with the squad, it is speculation but for me it is no problem. He is happy to play with this team, he enjoys his football and this is the most important thing," Puel said.
