Corazon Aquino will captain Kenya U-20 national team in the first round of 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier on Friday.
The experienced Soccer Queens midfielder will be a big asset to coach Caroline Achieng, who named a relatively inexperienced squad that will take on host Botswana in the two-legged fixture, whose winner will meet Ethiopia in the next round.
Achieng will be assisted by Jackline Akoth and Ann Aluoch.
Achieng will rely on the experience of the captain and Lillian Awuor, a student at Nyakach Girls, who earned her first cap with Harambee Starlets in 2016 Cecafa Cup held in Uganda.
Seeded Ethiopia was handed a bye to the next round and will sit out of the preliminary stage. Africa will qualify two teams for the World Cup to be held in France.
