AFC Leopards head coach Nikola Kavazovic has confirmed that the club will sign striker Michelle Katsvairo.
The Zimbabwean attacker played the entire match as Wazito and Ingwe played out to a one all draw at Camp Toyoyo on Wednesday. Speaking after the match, the Serbian tactician said he was impressed with the former Kaizer Chiefs striker and is keen to work with him.
“He has impressed in the friendly and we will definitely hand him a contract.”
Katsvairo was forced to end his stay with Amakhosi early this year and returned to Zimbabwe, where he signed a professional contract with CAPS United. The speedy attacker's career took a nosedive soon after being deemed surplus to requirements by Amakhosi.
He was then loaned out to Tanzanian club Singida United for the duration of the 2017/18 season. However, Katsvairo, despite having a solid start to his campaign at Singida Utd, returned to Naturena in December 2017 after citing issues relating to salaries.
Ingwe are preparing for the new season that kicks-off on the December 8.
