Boy this was exciting, it was an all expenses paid trip and we got to see the final.
The trip started on Sunday 25th June with the delegation returning on Monday the 3rd of July.
Not only did the group get get tier 1 tickets to the final featuring Chile versus Germany, but the children were entered in the Football For Friendship programme and had a marvellous time.
They played in the Nova Arena, met new friends from 63 other countries and created memories that will last a lifetime.
Saint Petersburg is an amazing city with plenty to offer, both culturally and historically the city boasts of ancient history with Tsars and royals.
Having returned from Russia it was straight back to business.
