Experienced attacker Nuno Gomes appears to be on his way out of Portuguese titans Benfica, if a report in newspaper A Bola is to be believed.
The 33-year-old striker has lost his spot in the starting XI to Argentinian forward Javier Saviola and Gomes appears to be surplus to requirements after the arrivals of Alan Kardec and Eder Luis.
Gomes' situation at the joint Liga Sagres table toppers has not gone unnoticed in the rest of Europe and clubs such as Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United are believed to be keen on signing the highly rated forward.
The Portuguese international previously played abroad at Fiorentina from 2000-2002 and Gomes is reportedly considering going on yet another foreign adventure.
