Portuguese Liga Sagres outfit Pacos de Ferreira have snapped up Brazilian striker Evandro Roncatto on a free transfer, the club announced on their official website.
The 23-year-old attacker played the past two seasons for Belenenses, but opted to move on this summer and left the club on a Bosman move. Roncatto has scored six goals in 53 matches for his previous team.
The former Guarani starlet has signed a one-year loan deal at Pacos de Ferreira.
Roncatto will be eager to rediscover his best form and live up to the high expectations that have chased him since 2003. The striker was voted the second best player at the FIFA Under-17 World Championship in 2003, but has failed to impress ever since.
