Ibrahimovic nearly hit by golf ball in PSG bus attack

The team's vehicle was struck just 800 metres from the entrance to the Stade Velodrome and left a hole in the window beside the Swede's seat

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was nearly hit by a golf ball during an attack on the Paris Saint-Germain bus before Sunday's Ligue 1 clash at Marseille.

The vehicle was approximately 800 metres from the Stade Velodrome when it was struck by a number of objects including the golf ball, which smashed a hole in the window just above where the Sweden international was sitting.

Despite the attack, Ibrahimovic started for second-placed PSG in their crunch clash with Marseille, which the visitors won 3-2 to reclaim top spot in Ligue 1 from Lyon.

Andre-Pierre Gignac twice put the hosts ahead but Blaise Matuidi and Marquinhos popped up with equalisers before a Jeremy Morel own goal gifted PSG three precious points.
